BODY ROCK stars Lorenzo Lamas as one of a group of rappers, dancers, and graffiti artists, who becomes so good that he is persuaded by entrepreneur Sharkey to quit the group and work solo at Sharkey’s disco. Success goes to Lamas’ head for a while, causing him to abandon his girlfriend and his mother, but he finds his roots again in the end.
